I haven’t blogged in a while, but I’ve been very active on my blog. If you’ve been here you may have noticed a few things. You may have noticed that the site was down, was up, was down, was different, looked different, was the same, felt different, etc. etc. So what has been going on?
Well, following Covenant Eyes’ leadership and by the strong encouragement from my wife, I have too transferred my registration to Hostgator.com, whom I strongly recommend, especially for any WordPress sites. So you may have noticed the change from http://purifyinggrace.com to http://purifyinggrace.com.
If you are a Christian and you host or are registered with GoDaddy.com, please reconsider. I know that GoDaddy is typically the best registration purchase; however, isn’t it worth a few extra dollars not to give it to them and to support someone else or another company with higher morality. If you’d like to transfer your domain hosting, simply click here. If you’d like to transfer your domain registration, follow these steps (I apologize about the steps, I tried to get this down to as few as possible):
- Click on the banner above or click here, Hostgator.com, which will open in a new tab/window.
- Then scroll to the bottom and click SERVICES.
- Click on Register Your Domain Online Here, which will refer you to Registry Rocket by Hostgator.
- Click on Transfer a Domain Name.
The cost is $15, and it does have some perks and advantages over GoDaddy.com. One immediate thing you will notice is how much faster it is for your page and the admin pages to load. It should be GoDaddy, it should be SlowDaddy. I’m glad I switched.
The transfer is now final and complete. Thank you for your patience as it has taken a lot of mine. If you have a website, do you currently use GoDaddy? Have you switched from GoDaddy? Or are you planning on not switching?
